Bring Back WIN98!

Windows VISTA has so far failed to meet users’ approval – as a matter of fact, WIN98 nostalgia is becoming rife! Check out this little tune, composed entirely of WIN98 and WINXP sounds:

  1. I’ve still got XP. When buying my Vaio laptop over a year ago, I got a free ‘Vista – Upgrade’. Vista wasn’t out at the time, but I got some voucher and eventually received Vista in the post. However, I have no intention of putting it onto my computer!

    My preferred OS was always Windows 2000, as it felt more professional than Win 98 (albeit a bit slow). XP isn’t so bad and definitely the only feasible option for Windows – users at the moment.

    The worst OS of all, of course, was Windows Millenium. Really pointless and just a lame ‘upgrade’ of Win98, and terribly so.

  3. it was pre-installed with a cheap and nasty desktop PC I bought years and years ago..
