The world’s most handsome man turned a year older yesterday, and this gave rise to a fancy dress party (it was also something like a class-reunion of the final year students). Not my first fancy dress party, but the first one I took seriously, I suppose. It’s really NICE to dress nicely, and, miraculously, people seemed to be more behaved than normal (not that they’d normally misbehave… but something about their demeanour just seemed more sophisticated than usual).
